About Jeremy D. Burch

I am a sinner, saved by the Grace of God. I desire to live a life that glorifies God and points non-believers to Him. I want to praise my God with my life. Although I am far from perfect, more and more I understand the depth of God's Grace. Praise God with your life, for He is our source of joy and fulfillment. Praise God for His Son, Jesus, for He is our source of salvation and eternity with God. And Praise God for His Holy Spirit, who fills us with hope and joy and conscience to live and love for Him.

Work As Though It's For God

Ephesians 6:5-9 is quickly summed up by saying, "work hard at your job." I feel like I do that. I've always been known as a hard worker, a good employee. But I think there is a level I don't work at that this passage points to. I work to "please people." I work to please my bosses and the customers. I don't work as a "servant of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, rendering service with a good will as to the Lord."

We need to be working as though we are working and serving God. Our mind set need to be that we are doing our best for God not man. Work hard. But work for God. Don't work to please man so you can get that raise or promotion. Work to please God and glorify Him with your hard work and great performance.

Praise God for His Leadership.
